Bahareh Fayazi, born in 1979, embarked on her musical journey at the age of 8, delving into the realms of Tar and SeTar. Her passion for music led her to pursue a Master’s degree at Tehran University of Art. In 2016, Bahareh clinched the prestigious Barbad Award for instrumental music with her acclaimed “Roshana” album.
Throughout her career, Bahareh has had the privilege of learning from and collaborating with esteemed maestros such as Zeyd-o-Allah Tolooiee, Arshad Tahmasebi, Daryoush Tallaaei, Daryoush Pirniyakan, Hossein Alizadeh, Masoud Shoarie, and Mohammad Reza Lotfi.
As a dedicated educator, Bahareh has been sharing her expertise in Tar and SeTar for many years. She serves as a lecturer at the Girls College of Music for Women’s Group since 2014, while also holding the role of managing director at the Bahareh Music Institute and overseeing the Nobahar Ensemble.
Bahareh’s musical prowess extends beyond teaching. She has lent her talent to numerous albums, including “Introducing Young Artists,” “Mahan,” “Pirouzan,” and “Sepehr Khani,” among others. Her performances have graced stages in Iran and abroad, captivating audiences with her virtuosity and emotive expression.
Bahareh’s contributions to ensemble music are noteworthy. She was a key member of the women’s group of the Sheyda Ensemble from 2007 to 2012, under the guidance of Mr. Mohhamad Reza Lotfi, and a member of the Sepehr Ensemble from 2004 to 2012.
