Biography:
Negar Kharkan, born in 1983 in Tehran, Iran, embarked on her musical journey at the age of 11. She obtained her Bachelor of Music degree from the Music College in 2003 and her Master of Music degree from the Art University in 2006.
Negar’s musical education began in 1994 when she enrolled in the Music Conservatory in Tehran, where she studied Kamancheh under the guidance of esteemed masters such as Hadi Montazeri, Ardeshir Kamkar, and Saeed Farajpouri.
Her teaching career commenced at the Music Conservatory in Tehran from 2002 to 2008, followed by teaching positions at the Art & Architecture University of Tehran from 2008 to 2010. Since 2014, Negar has been an instructor at Rhythmitica Online Music Academy.

– Performing in Open Studio 4th at Vayuresidency, Kashan on January 27, 2022.
– Accompanying Hossein Alishapour in “Few Nights with Iranian Music the 11th” in Shiraz in 2019.
– Performing with Dariush Talai at Bozar, Brussels on October 6, 2018.
– Various performances with Shahnaz Ensemble and Maestro Mohamadreza Shajarian during international tours.
– Performing with Molavi Ensemble alongside Maestro Shahram Nazeri from 2008 to 2014.
– Participating in the Hamavayan Ensemble with Maestro Hossein Alizadeh from 2006 to 2007.
– Performance at the Kurdish Music Festival in Solaymanieh, Iraq in 2005.
